Dear Parents,
At Luv-n-Care, each child is a unique individual with a definite growth and developmental pattern. We are committed to the belief that early childhood education is vitally important to our children's future. Our program is designed to develop in children a love of learning. Creativity is valued, nurtured, and expressed in many varied forms. Materials and equipment are available which develop curiosity, imagination, independence, inventiveness and resourcefulness. The program is flexible in approach and can adapt to the learning level of every child. Play is an important aspect of the development of every child and our curriculum has been designed to meet this need. Our program has interesting activities with playful and creative challenges for the minds of young children.
Our cheerful environment provides a "family-like" atmosphere. We love to be thought of as a home away from home. We incite parent involvement in school activities. It is our privilege to welcome you and your child(ren) to Luv-n-Care Preschool.
Sincerely,

Paul and Marie Cooke
Mr. and Mrs. Cooke's belief in a developmental educational program for children would soon change the path day care would take in the San Antonio area. Luv-n-Care was established in 1970 by Mr. and Mrs. Cooke, who recognized the importance superior education would play in the intellectual development of their own seven children. A 3,000 square foot building on the corner of Vance Jackson and Wurzbach granted them an opportunity to pioneer quality developmental care for children. The doors opened on July 1st., with an enrollment of 23 children. Mr. and Mrs. Cooke's love for children was apparent and the demand for quality care was outstanding. Schools were established in the Leon Valley and Thousand Oaks areas in 1978 and 1983, respectively. Their original location was rebuilt in 1987 and again in to 2002 to inlcude 14,000 feet of developmental areas.
Thirty plus years later, children are a priority in Mr. and Mrs. Cooke's lives. Their influence and contributions to children's organizations have made a difference. The Cooke family continues to be involved in the day to day operations of the business. What makes Luv-n-Care a special place to be? Our family atmosphere is apparent. Thirty plus years in the business provides experience which makes a difference.
